House Rules

Drinking Water: At Silk Route, we are trying to be eco -friendly. Consequently, we are discouraging use of disposable plastic bottles and encouraging guests to bring their own bottle or they can get one from us. Water is available in large bottles from where guests can refill their own water bottles.

Electric Equipment: Other than laptops and phone chargers, we do not allow electric equipment usage in rooms. STRICTLY PROHIBITED are kettles/iron/hair dryer/ heaters, etc.).

Room Service: To encourage guests mingling, there is no room service for food.

Heating: Heating services will be provided from 6pm to midnight during cold spells, being March, April, October & November months.

No Smoking: Smoking inside the premises is not allowed.

Timings: Reception remains open from 7am to mid-night.

Laundry: Automatic washing machine available for use for PKR 1,000 per load. Washing machine only operates when there is grid electricity supply available.

Cancellation:
• Free cancellation applies to cancellations made more than 14 days before check-in. 25% cancellation fee applies for cancellations made 11-14 days before check-in; and 50% for cancellations made within 6-10 days of check-in. No refunds apply for cancellations made within 5 days before check-in.

• In event of force majeure (unforeseen circumstances); the full amount can be used for a later booking or 75% cash refund can be taken. Force majeure is defined as flight cancellation (Skardu airport only) or road blockage exceeding 24 hours. A copy of their air ticket is required to avail this option. Refunds will be processed within 21 days for cash/bank transfer payments. Credit card refunds are subject to the card issuer’s policy.
